Every time I drop off lasagna to a family, I walk away feeling a mix of gratitude, humility, and perspective. I’m grateful to be able to help; I’m humbled by the people I meet; and I’m blown away by the challenges people face and how they respond.
One of the responses that blows me away the most is simply asking for help. To be eligible for Lasagna Love, you have to reach out…you have to ask for help. And that’s hard!
Today, I met a family of five who was navigating a number of challenges created by two kids having special needs. Click here for a short list of more common challenges.
